OrbIT

Automation you can explain, audit and control.

OrbIT works with client conversations, business records and billing data. These are the principles that govern how it does that.

Security principles

Data privacy
OrbIT processes the business data needed for the workflows you enable, and no more. Data handling is defined with each customer during onboarding.
Role-based access
People see and act on what their role requires. Approval rights for billing and client-facing actions can be limited to specific roles.
Least-privilege integrations
Each connector requests only the scopes its workflow needs.
Human oversight
Suggested time entries, sensitive updates and client-facing actions can require review before they take effect.
Auditability
Automated and human actions are recorded so you can reconstruct what happened, when and by whom.
Integration security
Connections use each platform's supported authentication methods.
Data retention
Retention periods for call data, summaries and logs are agreed with your team to match your policies and obligations.
Confidentiality
Client conversations and records are treated as confidential business information, with access limited to the people and workflows that need them.

Many OrbIT workflows run on call metadata alone — who called, when, and for how long. Recording and transcription are optional and are enabled only where your organization has the right to use them.

Consent requirements for call recording vary by jurisdiction, and professions such as law carry additional confidentiality duties. Your organization remains responsible for notices and consent; OrbIT is configured to respect the choices you make.

Responsible AI

AI in OrbIT drafts and suggests; it does not make final decisions about billing or client matters. Summaries are clearly labelled as AI-generated and are presented with the source data they came from.

OrbIT AI gives organizations policy-based control over approved AI tools and visibility into adoption — for governance and enablement, not for surveillance of individual employees.

What we do and don’t claim

OrbIT supports compliance-related processes, but using OrbIT does not by itself make an organization compliant with any law, regulation or framework. We do not currently advertise third-party certifications or independent audit reports on this site. When specific attestations, data residency options or technical controls are relevant to your evaluation, we provide them in writing during the review process.
